'Knife' robber threatened young victim in street for mobile phone

A young man was threatened with a knife during a street robbery in North Warwickshire. The victim, who has not been identified, was allegedly approached by two males in a black vehicle, one carrying a knife.

Warwickshire Police say one of the two suspects got out of the car and allegedly told the victim to hand over their phone. The victim handed it over and then fled.

It happened at the unction between Tamworth Road and Sycamore Road in Kingsbury at around 7pm last night (November 21). Now police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area.

"f you were in the area at the time and can help us with our investigations, particularly if you have dashcam or doorbell footage, contact us," said a Warwickshire Police spokesperson.
