Knifeman jailed after threat to Wrexham pub worker
A man armed with a locked knife threatened a worker outside a pub. Adam Rogers was convicted of affray after the incident in Wrexham.
A judge at Mold Crown Court today said the 38-year-old's offence had to be marked by an immediate custodial sentence. He jailed the year old for 15 months.
The court heard Rogers, of St Mary's Close, Chirk, had been drinking. He threatened the worker outside The Midland pub in Wrexham. and was arrested. You can sign up for all the latest court stories here

The judge His Honour Rhys Rowlands told the defendant he had been drinking and had taken the knife from his home and threatened the member of staff outside the pub.
He said: "Day in day out courts are seeing cases where individuals take knives onto the street." Courts will clamp down on such behaviour, he added.
