Kourtney Kardashian has revealed she has been eating lots of quail eggs as she believes they can help with “baby-making”.

The 43-year-old reality star, who recently married her beau Travis Barker in Italy, is trying everything in order to give herself the best chance of conceiving a baby.

Speaking during a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kardashian went for lunch with her friend Stephanie Shepherd and detailed her unusual diet.

“I don’t know if I’m going to regret this lunch choice,” the mum of three told her pal. She added: “I have to eat quail eggs every day too.”

The reality star explained she believed the quail eggs could help with “baby-making.”

Later in the show, Kardashian added: “quail eggs supposedly are useful when trying to have a baby.”

Although Kardashian confessed she’s “not sure if that’s documented online”.

Kardashian and Barker have been very open during the last few months about their efforts to start a family together.

In recent episodes of The Kardashians reality show, the couple has filmed several candid scenes as Kardashian undergoes IVF treatment.

In a previous episode, Kardashian - who is also mum to Mason, Penelope and Reign with her ex Scott Disick - suggested her IVF had triggered depression.

“The medication basically put me into depression,” Kardashain admitted.

News about their latest IVF efforts came shortly after the reality star and Blink 182 drummer married in a fairytale ceremony in Portofino, Italy.

The couple, who have been good friends for years, have been on cloud nine ever since they confirmed their relationship at the start of 2021.

The pair went on to have an unofficial wedding in front of an Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas before enjoying a second wedding ceremony in California.
