Kourtney Kardashian has opened up about her decision to quit Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Several months removed from the family fight now, Kourtney confessed to Vogue Arabia that the "toxic environment" on Keeping Up with the Kardashians was no longer tolerable in its latter seasons.
"I have been filming the show non-stop for 14 years… I was feeling unfulfilled and it became a toxic environment for me to continue to have it occupy as much of my life as it was," she explained.
Kourtney went on: "Privacy is something I have come to value and finding that balance of private moments with being on a reality show is hard.
"People have this misconception that I don't want to work, which isn't true. I am following my happiness and putting my energy into that which makes me happy."
With or without Kourtney, her mum Kris Jenner confirmed earlier in the year that filming had commenced on Keeping Up with the Kardashians season 19 – though it has faced similar subsequent delays to most other reality shows in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Those who missed out on some Kardashians family drama in the past can now comb through its first two seasons, as they were recently added to Netflix UK for the first time ever.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs on E! in the US, and you can watch on E! UK and hayu in the UK.
