Kremlin says only a small number of people attended pro-Navalny protest on Valentine's Day

MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Kremlin said on Monday that only a small number of people attended a brief protest in courtyards across the country to support jailed opposition politician Alexei Navalny on Sunday and that the law had not been broken.

Some supporters of Navalny shone their torches on their mobile phones and lit candles in residential courtyards on Valentine's Day evening in solidarity with Navalny despite warnings that they could be arrested.
