Next month, Krispy Kreme will give sugar-hungry customers the chance to embrace their inner spy.

The doughnut giants are launching a new “secret item” on their menu, which can only be claimed with a special code.

The new Vimto-glazed doughnut won't be on the menu and will only be available to buy “under the counter” in stores. The new flavour won't appear in supermarkets or on the official website.

Customers can get their hands on the mysterious treat by uttering the words “I see Vimto in Krispy Kreme” to a cashier.

The purple-topped doughnut will cost £1.90 — making it slightly more expensive than other classics such as the Original Glazed (at £1.55) and the Chocolate Sprinkles ring (at £1.70).

It’s worth noting the Vimto doughnut will be a limited-edition, only on offer from October 8-14. They will also only be available while stocks last, so it's advised to visit early in the week.
