Kristen Wiig paid a visit to James Corden's chat show on Wednesday night (December 6), and they took the time for an impromptu duet.
During her appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the Bridesmaids and Ghostbusters star joined forces with the host, as they decided to sing a Leonard Cohen classic to help empower people during difficult times.
But it seems like during the song, Kristen was having a bit of a hard time getting the title of 'Hallelujah' right...
Their emotional performance got a bit waylaid thanks to Kristen's issue with pronouncing the title – and by James's constant interruptions correcting her.
Even after help from James, attempting to split the word up and have Kristen repeat after him, it still wasn't quite coming together.
In fact, his best efforts to help still only seemed to make Kristen's pronunciation deteriorate even more as the song went on. 'Holy-how-ya', 'Holy-luau', 'Halle Berry', 'Howdy Doody'... literally anything but 'Hallelujah'.
She eventually got it towards the end of the entertaining skit – and they were even joined by a choir who had been taught the song by Kristen herself for a grand finale.
You can only guess how they pronounced the title...
