Kylian Mbappe has hinted he could be seeking a move away from Paris St Germain.

Mbappe, 20, was named on Sunday night as Ligue 1's player of the season - but during his acceptance speech, he said he wanted to be given "more responsibility", either at PSG or "elsewhere with a new project".

L'Equipe published a transcript of his speech online in which Mbappe said: "It's a very important moment for me, I come to a turning point in my career.

"I have discovered a lot here, and I feel it is perhaps the moment to have more responsibility.

"I hope that can maybe be at Paris St Germain, that would be a great pleasure. Or perhaps elsewhere with a new project."

Mbappe scored twice in the penultimate round on Saturday to become the first French player in 53 years to score at least 32 goals in a Ligue 1 campaign since Philippe Gondet's 36 for Nantes in the 1965-66 season.

Germany midfielder Dzsenifer Marozsan, who helped Olympique Lyonnais' women's team to a record-extending 13th consecutive league title and fourth straight Champions League crown, was named the best first division female player for the third time in a row.

Lille's Christophe Galtier was voted best Ligue 1 coach of the season after taking his side to second place behind champions PSG.
