Kylie Jenner crashes high school prom to dance with dateless teen

Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner made a rejected teenager's night when she rocked up at his high school dance.

Albert Ochoa got to live out the dream of teenagers across the world, when 19-year-old Jenner turned up to dance with him at the Rio Americano High School in Sacramento, California.

He had invited the reality star to the dance after being spurned by his own date.

Albert's sister Selena later shared a video of Jenner hugging her brother on a balcony, to the cheers and whoops of his classmates.

Selena wrote on Twitter: "Proud to say that's my brother."

On her way to the dance, Jenner posted a snap of herself in a floor-length prom dress alongside her social media side-kick and best friend Jordyn Woods.

She wrote next to the snap: "Saturday night (on) the way to surprise a fan for PROM so cute!!!"

The half-sister of Kim Kardashian was taught at home from the age of 15, so never got the chance to go her own high school dance.

She had previously said she would love to go to a prom, and even said she planned to get a friend to take her to one.

Students posted videos of their surprise celebrity guest on social media, showing Jenner causing quite a stir as she walked through the prom, posing for selfies with fans as she went.

E! network has recently announced that Jenner - the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan - will soon be starring in her own spin-off show, Life Of Kylie, which she will also executive produce.

Meanwhile her older sister and fellow Keeping Up With The Kardashian's star Kendall Jenner, recently faced a backlash from fans after appearing in a Pepsi advert which showed her using the sugary drink to calm tensions between activists and police .

Activists felt the ad exploited serious protests such as Black Lives Matter. Pepsi has pulled the ad.
