It’s old news now that Kylie Jenner is extremely rich. As according to her controversial Forbes magazine cover story the reality and makeup connoisseur is just a few million off becoming a verified billionaire.
But new research puts her eye-watering wealth into a painful perspective: It would take just two hours for Jenner to earn the average annual salary of a UK worker.
Updated research by I Saw it First states that as the current average UK salary is £27,271, Jenner not only earns this in a matter of hours, but this works out to just over £238 a minute.
To earn Jenner’s annual salary, a British citizen on an average salary would need to work for 4579 years. Or to earn her daily salary, the same worker would need to work for a staggering 13 years.
And it seems that Jenner has overtaken her older half-sister Kim Kardashian’s earning power, as last year I Saw it First revealed that Kardashian earns the average UK salary in six hours – triple the time of what it now takes Jenner.
According to Forbes, Jenner made $166,500,000 (£129,379,389.32) between June 2017 and June 2018. The majority of her wealth is thanks to her hugely successful Kylie Cosmetics product range, which includes her popular ‘Kylie Lip Kits.’
Jenner uses social media as the main platform for advertising her products, and it was revealed just a few weeks ago that she is currently the highest paid Instagram celebrity.
An average sponsored Instagram post by Jenner earns her an average of $1 million (£776,942.86).
I Saw it First has developed a platform to compare your salary to those of major celebrities – including Jenner, Ed Sheeran, Drake, Sean Combs and Gigi Hadid.
