Pre-sale tickets for Kylie Minogue's Glasgow date at the OVO Hydro went on sale today - but fans are complaining the standard priced tickets sold out instantly and the remaining tickets were overpriced.

The Australian pop star will headline the Glasgow venue on May 16 next year with The Tension Tour. Her biggest tour since 2011 is hotly anticipated with fans clambering for early access to tickets with pre sale codes and so far only one Scottish date confirmed.

But many were left disappointed when standard categories of tickets sold out straight away and only very expensive options left.

On Facebook Gemma McPike said: "Did anyone actually get tickets ? All gone by 10:02am. Hoping another date is released."

On X, formerly Twitter, Laura said: "Kylie front row seats were £400! Even at Glasgow by the B stage they are £340 and almost the whole floor is VIP only."

The Spy Who Loved me added: "OVO presale for Kylie in Glasgow was ridiculous. I think they had about 50 tickets available. Majority of the seats are reserved for Amex customers. Also the amount of reselling on here already is disgusting. What an absolute joke."

Shadow Tillagger said: "Those prices for Kylie Minogue in Glasgow? That’s just straight up grim. £200 for 1 seat? Absolutely not. General Seating instead of standing is a full on scam."

General tickets for Kylie go on sale at 10am on Friday, September 27, from the OVO Hydro website.
