Kym Marsh admits she had 'FOMO' when COVID forced her to miss Strictly

Kym Marsh has admitted it was 'weird' watching Strictly Come Dancing from home while she had COVID and that she had a bad case of FOMO (fear of missing out).

The Corrie star, 46, was absent from the BBC ballroom competition last week after testing positive for the coronavirus.

Appearing on spin-off It Takes Two, she confirmed that she and her pro partner Graziano Di Prima will be back this week.

The star also said it was really odd tuning in from home.

"It was so weird, I had such FOMO, I really did," she told host Janette Manrara.

"I swapped sequins for tissues. I watched it with two tissues stuck up my nostrils."

Earlier this week Marsh shared a snap on Instagram of her and Di Prima as she revealed that they were back rehearsing again.

"FINALLY back with this one!" said the star, who will be dancing to Fame for Musicals Week.

"We are so grateful to be able to dance this week, and to the most iconic musical FAME thank you for all of your support and get well wishes, truly means the world."

Fans said they couldn't wait to see Marsh back on the dancefloor.

"You two always make me smile! Can’t wait for your cha cha," one viewer wrote.

Another said: "So good to see Kym back you are an amazing partnership and I can’t wait."

"Can't wait to see you dance again," said another.

Somebody else posted: "Great to see you back for this week. Can't wait.@marsh_kym you looked so relaxed fun and happy on Takes 2 - just enjoy every second tomorrow night and show that fun side xxx."

One excited fan exclaimed: "Marshiano are back!!!"
