Kym Marsh's toyboy boyfriend opens up about their relationship and says 'very best thing'

Kym Marsh's boyfriend Samuel Thomas has shared a heartfelt tribute to the soap star on her final day performing in 101 Dalmatians The Musical. The pair met while working together on the theatre production, which embarked on a UK tour in June.

Kym, 48, starred as Cruella De Vil, while her partner Samuel, 29, took on the role of Tom. Samuel took to Instagram to express his feelings for Kym, stating that falling in love with her 'was the best thing' as he reflected on their time together.

Sharing some cosy snaps of the couple, Samuel said: "A very bittersweet day. I don't know where all this time has gone. It seems like 5 minutes ago we were starting rehearsals, taking trips to Morrison's and sending funny GIFs back and forth on Instagram (me desperately trying to make you laugh).

"Love you very much. Let's send you out with a huge bang and have two final shows that we can cherish today." Kym and Samuel made their relationship public in July.

The former Coronation Street star described her new boyfriend as her "soulmate" when she announced their romance. Posting a photo of herself and actor Samuel, Kym expressed: "Met the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate #loveyou."

The couple has faced online backlash due to their 19-year age difference. Kym ended her relationship with Scott Ratcliff due to the pressures of their careers, just 18 months after a successful stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

The duo got hitched in 2021, three years after they began dating in 2018. Kym was previously married to EastEnders actor Jack Ryder. They tied the knot in 2002 but divorced seven years later.

In 2012, she wed Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas, but they parted ways two years later. Kym is the mother to David, Emilie, 27, and 13 year old Polly.
