Labour broke the law by failing to prevent “discrimination” under its former leader, Jeremy Corbyn, a human rights investigation into how it handled the party’s antisemitism crisis has found.

The report by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) comes after years of complaints about how allegations of antisemitism were dealt with under Mr Corbyn’s leadership.

It comes as Marcus Rashford said he "can't stop smiling" as his petition to extend free meals into the school holidays passed one million signatures. The government has insisted it is in the process of examining how holiday clubs could be used to feed hungry children.
