Lady Gaga temporarily put the world to rights last night (February 5) with most eyes in the US - and a lot more around the world - on her as she put on an incredible show for the 51st Super Bowl in Houston.

And, as if plunging into the abyss wasn't enough of a literal mic drop for us all, Gaga finished off her half-time show with the announcement that she's taking her comeback album Joanne on tour later this year.

So dust off those pink cowboy hats, because the Joanne World Tour is coming to a country near you - and soon.

Gaga's Super Bowl 51 performance saw her cover her biggest and most iconic hits, and although there wasn't the grand political gesture some fans were expecting, Gaga did manage to throw some subtle hints our way with a quick rendition of Woodie Guthrie's 'This Land is Your Land'.

Amidst all the stage leaping and new tour announcing, Gaga treated us to a veritable mega-mix of 'Poker Face', 'Born This Way', 'Telephone', 'Just Dance', 'Million Reasons' and 'Bad Romance' for her Super Bowl set.

And it wasn't just Gaga's die-hard fans who loved her incredible performance, as Mother Monster's half-time show also received that all-important celeb seal of approval.

Even Hillary Clinton was a fan.

Lady Gaga's fifth studio album, Joanne, was released back in October last year. Despite the record's mixed reviews, Joanne debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and at number 3 in the UK.

Joanne went on to be 2016's second highest-selling debut from a female artist behind Beyoncé's Lemonade, so yeah, you could say Gaga had a pretty great year.
