Lady Gaga Calls Mike Pence the 'Worst Representation' of Christianity

Lady Gaga took a moment during a show in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 19, to criticize US President Donald Trump for the shutdown, and Vice-President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, over her role at a school that excludes LGBTQ students.

Gaga paused during one of her Enigma residency shows at the MGM Park Las Vegas, saying, “If the f***ing President of the United States could please put our government back in business … There are people who live paycheck to paycheck and need their money.”

Gaga then took aim at Mike and Karen Pence, over recent news that Karen’s employer, Immanuel Christian School in Springfield, Virginia, has an anti-LGBTQ policy for students, parents and staff.

“And to Mike Pence, who thinks it’s acceptable that his wife work at a school that bans LGBTQ? You are wrong,” she said.

“You say we should not discriminate against Christianity? You are the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian. I am a Christian woman and what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice and everybody is welcome. So you can take all that disgrace, Mr Pence, and you can look yourself in the mirror. You’ll find it right there," Gaga concluded. Credit: @gagaamour via Storyful
