Lady Gaga has revealed she has decided to “self-quarantine” after seeking advice from doctors.
The singer and actress took to social media to update her tens of millions of followers on her condition and reveal she is avoiding seeing her parents and grandparents so she doesn’t “get them sick”.
Posting on Instagram: "So I talked to some doctors and scientists.
"It's not the easiest for everyone right now but the kindest/healthiest thing we can do is self-quarantine and not hang out with people over 65 and in large groups.
"I wish I could see my parents and grandmas right now but it's much safer to not so I don't get them sick in case I have it.
"I'm hanging at home with my dogs."
She added: "I love you world, we'll all get through this. Trust me, I talked to God - she said we're gonna be ok."

The Just Dance singer is perhaps right to take it easy considering she has ongoing medical condition fibromyalgia which causes body pain by attacking her nervous system.
The 33-year-old opened up about the condition back in 2017 after it forced her to cancel a series of shows.
She has previously told Vogue: “I get so irritated with people who don’t believe fibromyalgia is real,” the singer said. “For me, and I think for many others, it’s really a cyclone of anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and panic disorder, all of which sends the nervous system into overdrive, and then you have nerve pain as a result.
“People need to be more compassionate. Chronic pain is no joke. And it’s every day waking up not knowing how you’re going to feel.”
