Lake Snow Effect Impacts Buffalo as Temperatures Dip in New York
Bands of lake effect snow impacted Buffalo, New York, on December 26, producing blowing and drifting snow, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
Temperatures dropped overnight as southwest winds increased, bringing snowfall rates of two to three inches of snow per hour and possible winds in excess of 30 mph, according to NWS.
