A Lamborghini driver who racked up multiple parking tickets has had them overturned thanks to some obscure legal technicalities – and has been showing off the cancelled tickets on the dashboard of his supercar.

Ash White, the 22-year-old jeanswear mogul whose bright orange Lamborghini is often spotted around Cheltenham, received six parking fines for parking outside the town hall in a space reserved for the Mayor.

“I don’t mind paying up, the tickets don’t bother me,” White said earlier this year, before parking expert Nigel Wise helped him weasel his way out of them.

It turns out that some of the tickets were issued incorrectly, while another two were cancelled because the words ‘Mayor’s Car’ are painted inside the parking space when technically they ought to be painted outside the box.

White did end up paying some of the fines, but Wise contends that all the tickets should have been rescinded because there’s no legal dispensation for a Mayor’s parking space in the first place.

White is no stranger to attention for his bright orange supercar – earlier this year he launched a manhunt after someone wrote ‘bellend’ on his windscreen in cream.

Mr White, who owns Geordie Shore-endorsed menswear jeans brand Hera London, said he was considering buying an office along the Promenade in Cheltenham just to get his hands on a parking permit.
