Lana Del Rey obtains marriage licence to wed Jeremy Dufrene

Lana Del Rey has obtained a marriage license to wed Jeremy Dufrene.

The Summertime Sadness singer and her boyfriend got the license on 23 September, a Clerk of Court from the LA Parish of Lafourche confirmed to People magazine.

Once a license has been obtained, a couple has 30 days to get married.

Lana and Jeremy went public with their romance last month when they were spotted holding hands at the Leeds Festival. They then attended model Karen Elson's wedding together in early September, along with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The pair has known each other since 2019, when Lana, 39, went on one of Jeremy's boat tours in Louisiana. Jeremy, who is a divorced father of two, guides tourists through the swamps and marshes so they can experience the local wildlife.

At the time, she posted photos on her social media pages of the trip, writing, "Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur's Air Boat Tours x."

Jeremy also posted a photo on his Instagram page, writing, "I never know who I can run across on my tours but always a pleasure @lanadelrey."

Sources told the Daily Mail that Lana's loved ones are happy about the union. "Her friends and team did some digging on him over fears he could be using her, but his business is lucrative and he doesn't need or want Lana's money," the source said. "They can see he treats her right and he's very, very low maintenance. He gives her what she is seeking in a man and is romantic."
