Lancashire based engineering firm announce bumper start to 2023

Lancashire based firm Walker Engineering has announced a bumper start to 2023 with 10 new large projects already won across the UK, totally in excess of £725,000.

The company, based in Skelmersdale, delivering fabrication, mechanical and electrical installation, and maintenance, Walker Engineering’s latest project wins span the whole country, from Preston and Birkenhead, to Cambridge and Lowestoft.

Some of the notable operations project wins include civils and cladding work on a 360 sq metre silo structural steel building in Preston (£200k) ancillary support works, project support and project management for Timothy Taylor’s Brewery in Keighley, West Yorkshire (£110k), and pipework modifications and improvements on a fertiliser storage tank in Scotland (£100k).

With over £1.5m worth of work also quoted in for January, Walker Engineering are already on course to better their record turnover of £3.9m from the previous year.
