Lance Bass slams Sean 'Diddy' Combs after past *NSYNC jibe

Lance Bass has hit back at Sean 'Diddy' Combs over a past jibe about *NSYNC following the rapper's arrest.

The 45-year-old singer is an original member of iconic boyband *NSYNC alongside JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake.

The group were prolific from 1996 until 2002 and crossed paths with Combs - who was arrested this month for a string of crimes including sex trafficking and racketeering, although the rapper has denied all charges.

Reflecting on Combs's legal issues during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, Bass recalled a past feud with the rapper.

He said, "I overheard him talking to Justin being like, 'You need to drop these effers. You need to go solo. You need to drop these.'

"I was like, 'I don't like you anymore, Diddy.' I'm like, 'At my own show? What the hell!' So I never liked him."

Show host Cohen, 56, later told his viewers that the details of the Bye Bye Bye singer's past encounter with the rapper were more dramatic than he shared.

Cohen said to the cameras, "Lance said during the (commercial) break the Diddy conversation was even worse than he said" - prompting Bass to admit, "I edited it a little bit."

Earlier this month, fellow *NSYNC star Fatone, 47, teased that the band could embark on a reunion tour once Timberlake, 43, is finished on his current solo world tour.

He told People, "When (Justin) is done with his tour, we'll sit down and go, 'What are we doing?' and figure it out. I would love to have that conversation, whether yes or no - I just want to know."
