Lancs cop gets police caution after taking items home from crime scene
A Lancashire Police officer removed items from a crime scene and took them to his home.
PC 3003 Clarke resigned from his post with the constabulary while facing disciplinary proceedings.
A misconduct hearing, chaired by Chief Constable Chris Rowley, said had the officer not resigned he would have been sacked.

The panel found his actions breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour, namely honesty and integrity, duties and responsibilities and discreditable conduct. They amounted to gross misconduct.
PC Clarke faced a criminal investigation alongside the misconduct inquiry. He was handed a caution for removing the items.
