Large Crowds Take to New York Streets to Protest Violence in Gaza

Large crowds of protesters marched through the streets of New York City, on May 11, in support of Palestine amid an intensifying conflict in Israel and Gaza.

Early on Wednesday morning, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) said it had hit “significant terror targets and terror operatives” across the Gaza Strip, in response to “hundreds” of rockets from Gaza in the previous 24 hours. The IDF said it was its largest strike since 2014.

Gaza health officials said late on Tuesday night that the conflict had left at least 30 people dead in the Gaza Strip and more than 200 people injured.
