Large emergency response and police cordon following Stockton incident

Police vehicles flooded a residential street following an incident in Stockton on Saturday.

Pictures taken at the scene show the police response on Commondale Avenue in Stockton at around 3.00pm on Saturday, July 6. An area of the street was cordoned off by officers from Cleveland Police.

There were at least five police vehicles in attendance at the scene. A number of officers could be seen behind the cordon.

The Cleveland Police dog unit was also at the scene. It's understood that the cordon was stood down at around 3.45pm.

Cleveland Police has been approached for further details.
