Largest Turnout Yet for German Pro-EU Protest Movement

‘Pulse of Europe’, a new pro-EU grassroots movement started in Frankfurt, rallied thousands of supporters across Germany on Sunday, March 5.

Protesters gathered in town squares, including in Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt and Cologne, to show support for Europe amid a surge of anti-EU sentiments in Europe and the US. The weekly protests have grown week-on-week with Sunday’s the largest yet. This week small rallies were also reported in England and France.
