A funfair is set to open this week in Coventry. Funfair bosses Barker's Fun Fair has announced its final fair of the season for families and visitors until Saturday, September 21.

The funfair will be set up at Hearsall Common from Thursday, September 12 for nine days with a range of classic funfair rides and attractions, games, plus food and drink stalls. The funfair will be open from 6pm on weekdays and from 1pm on weekends.

Barker's Amusements is a family-owned funfair established over 150 years ago and aims to provide thrills and fun for all the family with rides suitable for all ages. Previous locations have included Leamington Spa, Tamworth, Blaby, Polesworth, Bedworth, and more.

Entry to the funfair is free, with all rides £2 and dodgems £3 per car. The funfair is a pay-per-ride site, with card and cash accepted. Funfair bosses have advised for visitors to pay with cash 'wherever possible' as the systems signals aren't 'always reliable' and they 'hate' to 'disappoint visitors'.
