Latest Grimsby, Immingham and Cleethorpes roadworks planned in November
Utility works involving road closures are planned for a section of an A-road in Grimsby.
A 200-metre section of the A46 Weelsby Road could be shut for over a month. The replacement of a gas mains is the reason for the upcoming closure.
Brief road closures are also expected in Healing and a popular Cleethorpes street. A weight limit is also coming in on a temporary basis for a narrow country road near Immingham.

The latest road closure public notices issued by the council comes as work at the Bargate junction should finish this month. Bad weather, materials supply issues and longer than advised utility works have been cited previously for it not being wrapped up in October.
Weelsby Road closure and diversion
The 200 metre closed section of Weelsby Road will stretch from the junction with the B1213 Hainton Avenue, to Heneage Road junction. Diverted traffic will be directed via Heneage Road, Rialto Avenue, and Hainton Avenue.
The ten metres of Recto Avenue near Weelsby Road are also to be closed. Works are to be carried out on or near the road by Network Plus to replace gas mains. The closures are expected to last from Monday, November 18, to Tuesday, December 24.
Sea View Street and other roadworks restrictions planned
The full length of Sea View Street, Cleethorpes, is due to be shut from Thursday, November 21, to Monday, November 25. Access to the car park at the northern end will be maintained throughout. Adjacent New Road is also to be fully closed, with the same expected time period.
Works are to be carried out by Anglian Water, which will involve the installation of a new water connection. Wells Road in Healing is also to be partially closed for Anglian Water works, from Wednesday, November 20, to Friday, November 22. Again, to install a new water connection. The 235 metre stretch to be closed will cover from The Georgian House to the private access of Pine Fields.
Mill Lane, close to Immingham, will not be closed to all traffic. But from Friday, November 15, it is to have a temporary weight limit restriction, barring all vehicles that weight three tonnes or more.
The restriction is because of planned council works to Mill Lane Bridge. It could remain in place until Friday, May 15, 2026.
