This could be the start of a big week for London's top Premier League clubs in the summer transfer window as the 2017-18 season draws ever nearer.

Arsenal want Alexandre Lacazette, but Lyon have told the Gunners to pay £57million for the French striker - £13m more than Arsene Wenger has offered so far.

That price, coupled with Kylian Mbappe's £100m+ asking price, could force the Gunners to be more creative. The Daily Star suggests a potential swap deal regarding Alexis Sanchez and Manchester City star Sergio Aguero is on the cards - that could work for both forwards and also minimise the pain of losing such key players for both Wenger and Pep Guardiola.

Chelsea are having more success and expect to announce a £35.1m deal for Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko in the coming days, as Antonio Conte begins to land his six summer window targets.

Crystal Palace are expected to kickstart their summer with the announcement of Frank De Boer as their new manager later on today. Total Football as Selhurst Park, perhaps?

Tottenham are still quiet in the market as they prepare for life at Wembley, while West Ham - who have cannily added Man City veteran Pablo Zabaleta to their ranks - could do with a forward or two as they head into the 2017-18 campaign.
