Latest weather forecast shows huge blob of snow right over London
A new weather map has shown a large blob of snow set to pass over London this month. The forecast shows the possibility of snow for several days starting from Monday, November 17.
Snow, which is indicated by purple and white on the map, can be seen to hit London, and other parts of the country from Monday, November 18. It looks as if this could continue for the following week, with Wednesday, November 20 predicted to have a slightly heavier fall.
The Met Office hasn’t yet issued a forecast for this far in advance, but the BBC's long-range predictions don’t suggest there will be snow. This is still a relatively long time away, so there is some uncertainty over how the weather will finally play out.
