Laura Anderson has issued a very public warning to her new Scots footballer boyfriend Clark Robertson that he "better not have a wife" live on Capital Radio.

The Capital Scotland host read out a 'hard launch horror story' from an anonymous listener, alongside co-presenter Fat Brestovci, which left the pair in visible shock as they took to Instagram to share a clip from the moment inside the studio.

Laura, 35, went Instagram official with Dundee centre-back player Clark, 31, last month when she uploaded a snap of them both looking cosy in Ashton Lane in her own "hard launch" post of her new relationship.

Reading out a story that was likened to Laura's social media post, Laura read: "Anonymous has messaged in saying thankfully this wasn't me but it did happen to someone I know.

"She was seeing this guy for a month or so, and everything seemed to be going well and similar to Laura, she decided one night to just post a picture of him on her story and he clearly hadn't noticed she did it because by the time they finished her dinner, she had about ten messages saying he had a wife!"

The former Love Island star could be seen clapping her hand over her mouth as she exclaimed: "Oh my gosh. That's outrageous. That's a hard launch gone wrong."

Co-host Fat jumped in to defend Laura's post with new beau Clark as she wrote: "Laura's hard launch was positive, lovely and beautiful and it was a nice picture."

Laura then joked: "Clark's listening. He's driving right now. Hawl you, you better not have a wife! Oh my goodness, I'm going to phone him right now."

Over the weekend, Laura took to Instagram to share some snaps of her and Clark outside of Fir Park following Dundee's 1-0 win against Motherwell.

The mum-of-one posed for a snap outside of the stadium gates with the footballer as she wrote: "First football game", alongside a tick emoji.

She added: "Buzzing I got to meet my favourite player. Swipe to see me asking for an autograph."
