Known for its gruelling training sessions and it would seem that this year’s celebs are already suffering from the intense schedule.

Laura is paired with Georgia May Foote’s ex-boyfriend and dance partner Giovanni Pernice and despite their blossoming friendship, he’s vowed not to go lightly on the TV presenter.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the 31-year-old said how she had imagined it would be an easier booking.

“I thought it would be easier, but Giovanni was like: ‘We can’t have any breaks, let’s work hard’. He’s quite strict.”

She continued: “I wanted to take a lunch break but he said until I got the steps right I couldn’t have one.”

“It’s been really tough – we’ve not even had coffee breaks. Not until I know the routine fully.”

However, despite this Laura is chuffed with her professional partner, taking to her blog for Glamour magazine to gush about her pairing.

The Irish star called Giovanni ‘so talented’ and said how she had her eye on him since he performed last year with Georgia.

“I like to call him Gio Gio [Joe Joe]. Gio is so talented, and when I saw him last year I thought he was one of the best dancers and best choreographers in the whole show.

"I’m a feisty Irish lady, and he’s a feisty Italian guy so it should be interesting.”
