Reality stars offer Lauren Goodger support as she mourns death of newborn baby

Kerry Katona, Vicky Pattison and Gemma Collins are among those to have sent their condolences to Lauren Goodger following the death of her newborn baby.

The Only Way Is Essex star announced on Instagram that her second daughter Lorena had died just two days after she was born, following a pregnancy and birth with no complications.

Atomic Kitten singer and reality star-mother-of-five Kerry Katona told her: "Sending you all the love and strength in the world."

Vicky Pattison, star of Geordie Shore and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! said: "Awww Lauren, I'm honestly so heartbroken for you... sending you all so move love."

Fellow TOWIE star Gemma Collins commented: "Lauren I am devestated for you sending so much love right now [sic]"

Goodger, 35, had separated from Charles Dury, 24, after becoming pregnant with their second child together, but had said they planned to co-parent the new baby, alongside their 11-month-old daughter Larose.

Cast members of the ITVBe Essex reality show past and present shared their messages of support for the heartbroken parents.

Lydia Bright said: "Heartbreaking, sending you so much love."

Bobby Norris wrote: "I’m so sorry. Sending you so much love x"

Frankie Essex told her: "Sending our love to you Lauren & family."

And Amy Childs shared: "Sending you love Lauren."

Fearne McCann commented: "Lauren. I am so so so sorry. This is heartbreaking. Sending you so much love and strength. God has gained a perfect little angel."

Georgia Harrison said: "My whole body hurts for you Lauren I am just so sorry sending you all of my love and strength."

She added: "You are strong your going to be okay you are an amazing mumma and soul and you’ve got angels on earth and in heaven that are going to give you the strength to carry on being the woman you are."

Harrison recently revealed she had been dating Goodger's ex Jake McLean when he died recently in a car crash in Turkey.

Other stars of reality TV rallied round to offer Goodger their sympathies.

Former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Danielle Lloyd said: "Am so sorry for your loss Lauren."

Cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch wrote: "Beyond devastating , I am so so sorry Lauren and Charles sending you so much love prayers and strength."

Love Island's Maura Higgins posted : "So so sorry sending all the love and strength."

I'm A Celebrity's Nicola McLean told her: "Lauren my heart is breaking for you both sending all my love."

And former Big Brother star Imogen Thomas said: "So tragic. So sorry. Thoughts are with you."

Goodger announced the tragic death of her daughter saying: "Lorena R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.

"Words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.

"There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.

"I am broken I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet."

She added: "Please can I ask photographers to respect our privacy right now as we have a lot of grieving to do and funeral organising that I just need this time & with my baby girl Larose she is my rock that’s getting me through this or I wouldn’t survive.

"I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart she will be with me always and I will be with her again one day. My [angel] Lorena I love you so much."
Goodger began dating Drury in 2020 and announced she was expecting her first child in January last year.

She announced in January 2022 that they had separated and that she was expecting their second child.

The reality star found game as one of the original cast members of ITV2 show The Only Way Is Essex, with her then-boyfriend Mark Wright.

She has since appeared on Dancing On Ice and Celebrity Big Brother.
