Lauren Goodger was rushed to hospital over Christmas after telling fans she had a hangover and felt like she was “dying”.

The reality TV star, 33, posted images on Instagram showing her hooked up to a drip, as she revealed she had been “under a lot of stress lately”.

All seemed to be well as Goodger shared a picture of her Christmas dinner, but around an hour later she told her followers: “Never drink again… worst hangover to date I feel like I’m dying.”

The next post was a picture which appeared to have been taken in the back of ambulance.

Goodger said: “Under a lot of stress lately had paramedics at mine now on way to hospital.. really not good way lately.. I need a break.”

Later photos and video showed the star attached to a drip and various monitors, and shaking in a hospital bed.

Another showed Goodger sat in a wheelchair. “Keeping me in,” wrote the star, adding a broken-hearted emoji.

Goodger’s illness comes just days after the star claimed she had been “completely set up” by her former agent in regards to a fake diet drink she agreed to endorse.

Goodger fell for an undercover sting by BBC Three comedian Blindboy for his new documentary show Blindboy Undestroys The World.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star was asked to promote fake diet product Cyanora and was told the drink contained hydrogen cyanide – a deadly poison.

She was asked if she minded promoting the drink even though it was not yet ready for production.

She later told OK!: “I've been completely set up and it's not really fair.

"I never saw the script beforehand, I didn't know anything about the product so when they were explaining it to me it was the first time I was learning anything about it.

“I'm not a scientist. I don't know what hydrogen cyanide is and I've never heard of it before. I genuinely just thought it was some special ingredient that was being used. Like if you asked me what is in Lucozade I couldn't tell you”
