Lava Erupting From La Palma's Cumbre Vieja Volcano Flows Into the Sea

Lava flows from the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the island La Palma, Spain, spilled into the sea in the early hours of September 29, the country’s geological and mineral institute said.

The Canary Islands Volcanology Institute said the lava flow had reached the sea at Playa Nueva.
