Lava Gushes Through Leilana Estates From Kilauea Volcano's Fissure 8

Lava continued to gush from fissure 8 of the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii’s Puna district on Saturday, June 16.

According to the US Geological Survey, one day earlier on June 15, the lava had reached heights between 100 and 130 feet, and was flowing from the fissure into sea at Kapoho.
