Daredevil lava lovers heated things up on this unforgettable trip - by getting up close to an erupting volcano.
Fearless photographer Sergey Krasnoshcheko descended deep into the depths of an active crater in eastern Russia for these unique snaps.
The Plosky Tolbachik volcano on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the far east of Russia has an active history, and recently erupted in November 2012, damaging buildings 4km away.
Sergey managed to get close-up pictures of the huge volcano spewing lava into the air, as his companions stand metres away.

The peninsula has a high density of volcanoes and associated volcanic phenomena, with 19 active volcanoes being included in the six UNESCO World Heritage List sites in the Volcanoes of Kamchatka group, most of them on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
