Lee Ingleby joins Screw
Lee Ingleby has joined the cast of 'Screw'.
The 46-year-old actor will star as a new prisoner with a hidden agenda alongside the likes of Nina Sosanya and Faraz Ayub when the hit jail drama returns to Channel 4 for a second outing.
Gemma Boswell, Channel 4 Commissioning Editor, said: “We’re excited to be back in Glasgow to start filming series two of 'Screw' and to welcome Lee Ingleby, who is a fantastic addition to our brilliant cast.
"Series two promises even more drama, intrigue and humour on C Wing and we can’t wait to get started.”
The 'Inspector George Gently' star will also be seen on screen alongside 'Derry Girls actress Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, 'Game of Thrones' actor Ron Donachie as well as Barnaby Kay - who will play the new Governor - and Leo Gregory and David Judge will appear as fellow new prisoners Reeks and Hemmings.

The second series of the critically acclaimed prison drama began shooting on Monday (07.08.22) at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow and will once again consist of six 45-minute episodes, with an air date yet to be announced.
