Lee Min Ho reportedly dating Yeonwoo; his agency denies rumours

According to a report today by South Korean news site Dispatch, actor Lee Min Ho and former Momoland girl group member Yeonwoo are said to be dating, and have reportedly been dating for five months.

There were pictures taken of the two by a black vehicle in a parking lot, supposedly belonging to the actor. The report claimed that Lee Min Ho had taken singer-turned-actress Yeonwoo out on a date to the movies and had taken her home after their outing.

According to Soompi, however, the 34-year-old actor's agency, MYM Entertainment, swiftly denied the rumours, saying in a statement: "It is not true that they are in a relationship. They are just acquaintances.”

Regarding the photos, MYM said, “It wasn't just the two of them, and there were other friends present at the time. They are not photos of a date."

Netizens also observed that there was a third person in the photos who was also in the car.

Dispatch claimed that the two had spent time together previously, counting down the minutes to the 25-year-old actress' birthday on 1 August together, which had fuelled the rumour mills.

Dispatch also quoted an unidentified source as saying that the two grew closer through their mutual hobbies of video gaming and movie watching, and would often play games together throughout the night or go out to the movies together.

A-lister Lee Min Ho, arguably the most popular male celebrity in South Korea, last starred in romantic fantasy drama The King: Eternal Monarch.

Paparazzi outlet Dispatch often releases photos of celebrities, alleging romantic relationships between them. Earlier this year, the site also claimed that Seo Ji Hye and Kim Jung Hyun, as well as G-Dragon and Jennie, were dating, although these reports were not confirmed by the celebrities.
