Leeds Rhinos ratings as Alfie Edgell scores four and Croft and Ackers star in Hull rout
Leeds Rhinos thumped Hull FC 68-6 at Headingley on Friday night to keep their Super League play-off hopes alive. The Rhinos were a class above a woeful Hull outfit, with Brad Arthur’s side recording 10 tries and 14 goals.
Stand-in winger Alfie Edgell scored four, with braces also coming for James Bentley and Brodie Croft in what was a dominant Leeds display. Here are the ratings:
Lachlan Miller - Dangerous all night. Good kick returns, showed pace, energy, and intent. 8

David Fusitu'a - Leeds confirmed mid-week that the winger will leave the club at the end of the season. He worked hard on his final Rhinos appearance at Headingley. 7
Paul Momirovski - Solid if not spectacular show from the Australian centre. Did little wrong. 7
Harry Newman - Got the try scoring going with Leeds’ first. Linked well with the left edge. 7
Alfie Edgell - The winger scored four tries and finished well throughout. A night to remember for the Rhinos young gun. 9
Brodie Croft - The half-back, albeit against poor opposition, showed his class. He was involved in everything. Strong running game and a good pass selection. Scored two tries and assisted others. 9
Matt Frawley - Kept the ball moving and led Leeds around the park. A good display. 7
Mikolaj Oledzki - A strong return to the side. He made his presence felt and helped dominate the Hull side. 8
Andy Ackers - Brad Arthur wants Leeds to play direct, and the hooker certainly delivered. He tore Hull to shreds with a dynamic running game. 9
Justin Sangare - Some strong carries and broke the line. He was solid. 7
James McDonnell - The back rower has had a fine season and that continued here. Did his job. 7
Rhyse Martin - Was on fire with the boot in his final Headingley appearance as a Leeds player. Kicked 13 goals and carried strong throughout the game. 9
Cameron Smith - Linked play well and got over for a try. 7
Jarrod O’Connor - A late entry to the field. O’Connor has been outstanding in recent weeks, but it was Ackers who got the lions share of the game on Friday night. 7
Sam Lisone - Used off the bench and provided an impact. A couple of coming togethers with the Hull side. 7
James Bentley - Another good, honest, hardworking display with two tries to boot. 8
James Donaldson - A solid performance on his final Headingley appearance. Kicked the final goal, just. But they all count. 7
