Leeds United star sentenced at Bradford court after being caught speeding
A LEEDS United star has been sentenced at a Bradford court after being caught speeding.
Crysencio Summerville, 21, of Ackworth in Pontefract was found guilty of exceeding 30 miles per hour on a restricted road, at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court last Tuesday.
The winger, who is a Netherland Under 21 international, was caught doing 42mph on Kirkstall Road (A65) in a grey Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupé, heading towards Horsforth on September 6 last year.
It was between the road's junction with Redcote Lane and Gilbert Mount and Summerville was clocked breaking the speed limit on an automatic camera device.
The 21-year-old was handed four points on his driving licence and ordered to pay £706 in total.
This included, a £440 fine, a £176 surcharge to fund victim services and £90 in costs.
The total must be paid by April 11 this year.
Summerville joined the Whites in 2020 from Dutch club Feyenoord.
The diminutive and tricky winger has made 23 appearances for United this season - 20 in the Premier League, two in the FA Cup and one in the League Cup - and has scored four goals and two assists in the league.
