Leeds United team news for Burnley as Farke makes Aaronson call and loses key striker
No changes have been made by Daniel Farke to the Leeds United side which beat Hull City two weeks ago, as they host Burnley today. Brenden Aaronson was playing for USA as recently as 2am on Wednesday morning in Cincinnati, but he is ready to continue behind Mateo Joseph in attack.
It means Largie Ramazani, Ao Tanaka and Isaac Schmidt will have to wait for their full debuts after arriving on transfers last month. Patrick Bamford was passed fit to be involved in today’s matchday squad in the week, but he is absent from Farke’s 20-man list today.
Daniel James had already been ruled out, while Max Wober has not recovered from the knee issue which ruled him out of Austria’s second match of the international break. Burnley have included Jaidon Anthony, who spent last season on loan at Elland Road, in their squad for today’s lunchtime kick-off.

Connor Roberts, another of last season's loanees, does miss out through injury though having been ruled out during Wales duty.
The selection means Ampadu, Firpo and Rodon are the only players still on for starting every match in all competitions this season. Today’s referee against the Clarets is James Bell and he is assisted by Matthew Smith, Ian Cooper and Paul Howard (fourth official).
