Leeds United team news vs Cardiff as Farke is forced into key attacking change
Manor Solomon is missing from the Leeds United squad at Cardiff City as Daniel Farke makes one change to his starting line-up in Wales. Largie Ramazani has been given the nod and gets his full debut in the absence of the Israeli, who Farke had rated as a major doubt on Thursday.
Elsewhere, Joe Gelhardt drops out of the squad altogether to make way for Patrick Bamford on the bench, while Charlie Crew returns to the fold to plug the gap left by Ramazani. It should mean Ramazani starts on the left of the attack, with Wilfried Gnonto continuing on the right.
Further back, Ilia Gruev retains his start in the engine room, despite some calls on the terraces for him to make way for a more attacking option. Joe Rodon, Junior Firpo and Joe Rothwell have all overcome this week’s knocks to remain in the matchday squad.

The selection means Ampadu, Firpo and Rodon are the only players still on for starting every match in all competitions this season. As ever, Alex Cairns has travelled with the squad, but remains off the teamsheets.
Today’s referee against the Bluebirds is Josh Smith and he is assisted by Sam Lewis, Bhupinder Singh Gill and Ben Toner (fourth official).
