Legendary Emmerdale villain star Paige Sandhu's major new film role
A star who played a legendary Emmerdale villain will soon be seen in an exciting film.
Paige Sandhu portrayed serial killer Meena Jutla in the ITV soap. The character appeared between 2020 and 2022 with Meena going to prison for her crimes.
After leaving, Paige filmed scenes, taking a leading role in upcoming feature Lioness. Paige plays Queen Victoria's goddaughter Princess Sophia Duleep Singh.

The film has been inspired by the research of historian Peter Bance who wrote about the princess. As well as being Queen Victoria's goddaughter she was the Princess of Punjab and granddaughter of Maharajah Ranjit Singh, and was a key leader in the UK's suffragette movement.
Taking to Instagram, when she revealed the role, Paige stated: “I’m so excited for the world to learn about Sophia, her family and the life she lived.”
