The dramatic season three finale saw Rip (Arthur Darvill) sacrifice himself to buy the Legends time to escape from Mallus, and it initially seemed as though that would be that for Rip on the show.
But that's not the case, according to Guggenheim who seems pretty confident that Darvill will return to the show.
"We love Arthur, we love having Arthur on the show, and I think Arthur enjoys being on the show," he told EW.
"Because it's a time travel show, and because we never saw a body, anything is possible. I think Arthur is totally willing to come back and play with us if we have a cool idea."
We wouldn't be against it.
The season three finale also saw Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) decide to return to her village, but we always knew that it wasn't the end for her on the show and now Guggenheim has teased that their plans would be revealed at Comic-Con.
"We just felt like we owed it to the character to complete this arc, complete this story loop that we got her in. Once we took her off of her path in 1942, it was always incumbent upon us to return her to that path," he outlined.
"That was something that hung over us as writers, and hung over the character… I'm looking forward to a different storyline for Amaya next year."
We also know that season four will see Constantine and Time Bureau agent Ava Sharpe become series regulars, as well as seeing at least one of the Legends "kind of breaking bad".
DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs on The CW in the US, and on Sky One and NOW TV in the UK.
