Len Goodman isn't even on Strictly Come Dancing anymore and yet the show is still impacting his life.

The former Strictly head judge recently returned to Saturday night telly with the family game show Partners In Rhyme, in which contestants and celebrity partners compete to guess rhymes based on animated clues.

There's still one more episode of Partners in Rhyme yet to air, but it's been bumped from the Saturday night schedules to make room for… Len's old show Strictly Come Dancing! Hopefully, this wasn't the nefarious work of Shirley Ballas.

A spokesperson for the BBC told The Sun: "The final episode of this run of Partners In Rhyme has been moved in the schedules, as the BBC begins to accommodate the return of Strictly Come Dancing.

"Have no fear, more of Len's rhymes are near, he'll be back on your telly before the end of the year."

Err, let's leave the rhyming slang to our favourite Barnaby Rudge, Len. Damn it, now we're doing it too…

The Sun also indicates that the sixth episode could air as part of a second cycle coming to BBC One in the months ahead.

Maybe the time off will give our Len an opportunity for a cheeky return to Strictly, although not necessarily at the judging table. He recently hinted that he'd like to come down and watch an upcoming episode.

"I wouldn't go early doors," he assured The One Show's Alex Jones and Matt Baker in August.

Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday (September 23) on BBC, so take a look at the couples in their sparkly new promo photos and join us in counting down the days.
