Lena Dunham accused of being 'inappropriate' after Brad Pitt kiss

Lena Dunham has been accused of “inappropriate” behaviour after apparently attempting to plant a smacker on Brad Pitt’s lips at the London premiere of their film Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood.

The pair co-star in the 60s-set movie about an aging television actor and his stunt double.

Photos taken at the swanky event in London’s Leicester Square show the actress moving in for a rather awkward kiss with the heartthrob.

Instead of giving Pitt a peck on the lips – which seems to have been Dunham’s intention – she appeared to land her kiss on the side of his mouth.

The snaps have not gone down that well online, with people complaining of double standards.

One said on Twitter: “Someone might want to let Lena Dunham know that the no groping rule isn’t just for men. This isn’t the first time she had done this. It’s unacceptable and inappropriate.”

Another said: “Lena Dunham trying to kiss Brad Pitt is all kinds of yuck. Just typing this made me feel dirty. She's learned nothing. #WhiteWomanPrivilege #OnceUponATimeInHollywood.”

Another chimed in: “Yeah imagine if it was "Brad Pitt Surprises Lena Dunham With a KISS at 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' Premiere" there would be a very different kind of reaction.”

Dunham recently posted a message on Twitter saying what a great time she had working on Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood, which was directed by Quentin Tarantino and also stars Margot Robbie and Leonardo DiCaprio.

“It’s not every day I get to wear a mumu, go barefoot, flirt with #BradPitt, and join a cult… as a job,” she wrote.

“Today @OnceInHollywood comes out. Get thee to the theatre to see this gem of cinematic history.
