Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt have been confirmed as presenters at the 2020 Golden Globes on Sunday.

A tweet sent out last night by the ceremony's official Twitter account shared the news as an 'update' to a list already packed with stars including Nick Jonas, Dakota Fanning, Rami Malek and former Golden Globes host Amy Poehler.

Pitt and DiCaprio collaborated last year on Quentin Tarantino movie Once Upon A Time In Hollywood , which focused on events surrounding the Manson murders in 1969.

The 77th Golden Globes will be presented for the fifth time by Ricky Gervais, who returns as host for the first time since 2016.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Gervais says he prepares thoroughly for the awards. "People think that I'd go out there and I'd get drunk and say off-the-cuff [things]. I don't. I write jokes. I start writing immediately," he said.

The Golden Globes will also feature an entirely plant-based menu this year in a bid to highlight issues relating to food waste and climate change.

Nominees for the 2020 Golden Globes include Scarlett Johansson, Saoirse, Joaquin Phoenix and Christian Bale.
