Pinch punch, November is here. The spooky season is behind us, the clocks have changed and the countdown to Christmas is on.
In our Let’s Make-Up round-up, we bring you a selection of the tried and tested, freshest, and buzziest beauty launches that are worth adding to your basket. All types of lotions and potions across makeup, skincare, haircare and more cross our desks and we take it upon ourselves to review each and every one so that you don’t have to. If we include it below, then you know it’s a good ‘un.
This month, there’s two major trends worth your attention. The first is multi-tasking products. Giving you real bang for your buck, these are make-up essentials that combine two for the price of one; we’re talking a cheek and lip tint from Bobbi Brown’s Jones Road Beauty and Trinny London’s mascara-brow hybrid.
Pre and probiotics are taking over the world of beauty, from your body wash at Zitsticka, to Pai’s new booster serums.
Kylie Minogue’s Darling has also had a contemporary relaunch - 15 years after the fragrance’s first unveiling back in 2006. And speaking of revamping, Bobbi Brown is making its skincare collection more environmentally friendly with refillable packaging.
Elsewhere you’ll find Space NK’s own-brand hand and body lotions, pampering bath products from Oskia and Susanne Kaufmann and even a Barbie collab. It’s going to be a great month.
For all this and more, see our edit of the beauty goodies you need on your radar.

Hand sanitiser is a staple part of our lives and routine. Our mental checklist reads phone, keys, mask and sani whenever we leave the house, but if you’ve found that the strong alcohol-based ones feel like they’re doing more harm than good, you could do with a luxury update.
Tom Daxon’s gloved label has put its formula into travel size to make it easier for on-the-go use. It is crafted in a lightweight but durable aluminium bottle that can be refilled. The formula contains a 62 per cent alcohol content as well as a high concentration blend of hydrators - squalene and hyaluronic acid - so that you are protecting your skin with every squeeze.
It is also beautifully scented with the aromas of lime, juniper, and cedarwood oil (the latter of which is also known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial benefits).
The texture is lightweight but still gives you an opportunity to spread before absorbing into the skin and without leaving a sticky finish.
