Getting your A-level results is tough – we know, we've been there, we've all been there.

But sometimes, the free Nando's just won't make up for scraping a D in English and maybe having to trek off to a university in a part of the country you've never heard of.

However, one student, James White, had an ingenious solution to tackle his nerves on results day, namely booze – and he wasn't going to let being in the background of Good Morning Britain broadcasting to the nation stop him.

His fellow students from Winstanley College in Wigan were overshadowed by James, and soon the thirsty chap was picked up by social media, as everyone was very impressed with how prepared he was for proceedings.

Meanwhile, another student from the same college, Liam Scroggie, didn't have quite such a fun day after he missed out on the results he needed for his first choice.

He needed an A and twos Bs in order to get into Queen's University to study politics, and he was then asked if he was happy with the results. Obviously he wasn't.

Liam said: "No, I got a B, a C, a B and a D. I don't know what will happen now."

And of course, Jeremy Clarkson spouted on social media once again about how badly he did in his A-levels and how incredibly rich and successful he is now – yesterday his chef was making him breakfast, for instance. Good for him.

Good Morning Britain airs on ITV, weekdays at 6am.
